I guess I'm just unsure what's the best way to use anki while reading through the chapters. Yes I found it very effective to do this. Jacksparrow2048 deck is organized by the kaplan chapters so I wouldn't worry about making your own deck. How much of the jacksparrow anki deck is necessary to have fully committed to memory? I find all of the cards pretty overwhelming since I am just starting. Jack Sparrow's C/P and B/B was based off of Rebop's deck, so if you're looking for chapter-based Anki, use Rebop. That being said, I do enjoy MileDown's much better. Initially I used Rebop's and I didn't really enjoy it, but YMMV.
