Not to sidetrack this discussion, but both times I received the "Service Suspension System" DIC notification on my Tahoe the cause was a faulty compressor assembly. You may not notice much difference between 'Touring' and 'Performance' at all, unless you drive agressively. Take a spin through all branches of a cloverleaf and work the tires and brakes. 'Performance' flattens out yaw & roll, firms the ride, etc. but not all that much until needed.

Hmm, I know if they are too long then the system tries to match that side to that taller height on the opposite side. Also it only matches front to rear, not left to right.
