Pull the butt stock, remove the .308 carrier, drop in the barrel liner, and the .22 conversion bolt, reinstall the butt stock, and you are ready to rock. Look at any factory MP5 10/40 gun and you will see what I mean. If HK does not press the barrel in without spinning it, they would never get this orientation correct.
